ice cream colour

The sunshine always makes me want to wear ice cream colours :-) I love colourful jeans and the summer is a great opportunity to wear them in pastel shades. A good spring staple to pair them with is a white blazer, a summer essential that will go with any coloured jeans. As the May Bank Holiday approaches, I am forcing myself out of black and getting into a summer palette, taking inspiration from COS’s lovely lookbook along the way. In the photo, these are some ice cream colour's dress, shirts, hat, nail polish, and shoes.
in this season, mint green, naked colour and light purple would be the most popular colour.

Cool tips1. Whenever you think of a scoop of ice cream, the first thing you imagine it with is a waffle cone. Likewise, pairing ice cream colours with nudes will prevent your outfit from looking out of place or overtly experimental.
2. Pair ice cream colours with soft neutrals. Creams, greys, tans and camels make for great neutral bases for these cool shades.
3. For a bit of colour blocking, combine mint, peach and blue, or contrast lemon and green for a feminine touch.
4. All black accessories can make your pastel outfit look edgier.
5. Ice cream coloured accessories can turn an outfit from drab to fab.
6. Wear a neutral outfit — it makes pale accessories really pop.
7. Opt for modern jewellery in these shades. Clean cuts will save you from looking like someone’s fairy godmother.

Colour pop Many fashion bloggers went into overdrive when they spotted a blue minuscule pop of ice cream colour in stylish television presenter Alexa Chung’s hands at the Burberry Prorsum Autumn/Winter show at the London Fashion Week. The Burberry saddle bag was enough to lend a dose of sunshine to her dreary all-black ensemble. Different from the plaid-infused handbags that the British brand likes to churn out, the cross body bag comes in bright patent leather but in a vintage saddle shape.

Runway alertThe Spring/Summer 2012 collections of Blugirl and Louis Vuitton featured shoes — Mary Janes, cap-toed, colour blocked, high heeled — in a range of ice cream colours. A talked-about piece in the Louis Vuitton collection was a feminine pointed-toe mule with delicate ice cream coloured straps embellished with tiny buttons.
